Pastor Wayne Scott
A Heritage Instructor with Compassion
Since the inception of Heritage Baptist College, Pastor Wayne Scott, Th.D., has taught for Heritage. During and after his education in Greenville, SC, Brother Scott worked for five years in Rescue Mission work. Later he headed the Good News Mission in Indianapolis for seven years, and during that time brought the mission national recognition for their effective program with the homeless. Then in 1992, the Lord gave Dr. Scott the desire of his heart, and allowed him to establish Faith Baptist Church in Morristown, IN. From a little Bible study group, this congregation located 15 miles southeast of Indianapolis, has grown steadily over the years.
With a love for people, and a desire to train students, Pastor Scott teaches Christian Counseling and Bible courses.

Pastor Jack Weigle
A Heritage Instructor with Endurance
In 1972, Dr. William Forster recruited Pastor Jack Weigle to teach Personal Evangelism. Even when he moved out of state for further education, he continued to teach on the Bible College level. After Pastor Weigle returned to Indianapolis in 1976, and accepted the pastorate of the Open Door Baptist Church, he renewed ties, and began instructing again. Brother Weigle has continued to pastor, and over the years he has taught hundreds of Bible College students.
Pastor Weigle’s favorite subject is Bible Doctrines, a course he first taught while in Colorado, and still teaches to this day. It is said that some people teach, and then some people teach that are gifted teachers. The students at Heritage Baptist College would agree that they have an exceptional teacher in Pastor Jack Weigle.
Pastor Rick Stone
A Heritage Instructor with Enthusiasm
At a large Ohio youth rally in the mid 1970’s, President Dennis first saw Rick Stone as he led the singing. Even as a teenager, President Dennis was impressed with the song service and the abilities of this young man from Texas. Later Brother Stone went on to direct music in two of the leading churches in the Midwest.
Brother Stone conveys a straight forward, enthusiastic platform style that sets the tone for the service. Anyone who has attended a Heritage function has experienced the excitement generated through his songleading.
In 2000, the Lord allowed Brother Stone to found Maranatha Baptist Church, a faithful ministry located on the Southside of Indianapolis. His perseverance and steadfastness in that work has been an encouragement to many and he led in the merger with Grace Baptist Church in 2011.
With a pastor’s heart and a spirit of enthusiasm for the Lord’s Work, Brother Stone teaches Heritage students in Music, Speech, and Bible.
